Carved from one of the oldest firehouses in the District, Sixth Engine serves up contemporary American dishes at affordable prices. On Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., patrons can enjoy a bottomless bloody Marys or mimosas for $15. The restaurant’s menu includes items that range from pork chops, rib eye and bay scallops, to standouts like shrimp with cheddar poblano grits. The founders of Sixth Engine are five DC restaurateurs who are also responsible for two other popular restaurants in the city–Town Hall in Glover Park and Capitol Hill’s The Dubliner Irish Pub.

Located in Chinatown, Del Campo is a swanky restaurant with a moody atmosphere that’s as sophisticated as its complex South American flavors.
